David S. Johnson, Jr. founded Johnson Group in 1981, continuing a successful career in real estate consulting and development which began in 1972 at a St. Louis development firm.  Mr. Johnson is a St. Louis native educated at Washington University.  He selected commercial real estate as his life’s work following eight years with Xerox Corporation in marketing and business consulting.  David has created a commercial real estate firm emphasizing professionalism and personal service.  David served on the St. Louis Commercial Real Estate Board for the past two years, was selected 1997's Broker of the Year, is a member of Greenbriar Hills Country Club, a Life Member of the Navy League, a board member of Family Resource Center, and serves on the Frontenac Board of Adjustment.  David and his wife of 47 years, Anne, have four sons and nine grandchildren.  His hobbies include golfing and sailing.
